Ok, let’s cut straight to the chase! How terribly chic is that 1950’s trapeze coat on the right! It makes me swoon and let out random “ohhhhs” while looking at it. From the oversized pockets & sleeves to the HUGE abalone buttons; this is perfection in a coat. The label is long gone, but we have a feeling that this is from a New York designer. Very à la Balenciaga. Side note; MIA labels are the bane of my existence…. Oh well, c’est la vie.

On the left we have a bead, leather and metal encrusted brocade Oscar jacket. This is truly a piece worth dying for! From 2008, in a size 6-8. Centre feature is a 1970’s silk jersey Donald Brooks gown (size 2) with a 1981 Chanel chicklet sautoir. On the right we have a 1950’s silk twill autumn rose print dress (size 6) paired with a 1970’s Celine crocodile belt. Snappy!

Zebras know how to work a dashing look, refusing to be tamed like their horse cousins.  Why not take a cue  from our wild equidae friends and do a black and white print? If a full ensemble print is too much,  you can always mix and match like our centre Judy (or like this fellow).

Don’t submit  your style to winter ladies! Overcome the freeze by pairing wooly winter stockings with one of our warm day ensembles. Dress for success, despite crusty Old Man Winter’s will to break your fashion spirit.
