This time of year can really be tricky when it comes to dressing for the weather. Here we have three options for you and  your event. The far right is a wool knit, the far left a lace, and the centerpiece is a crisp mercerized cotton. So bring it on mother nature, we’ve got you covered!

Cute as a button

From 1998, we have just received an Hermes black, box calf leather belt with gold logo button buckle. It also comes with all of it’s ‘accoutrement’s’, including the box and buckle bag. Measures 31.5″. In pristine condition. Sold Please contact us for more details.

I spy with my little eye, something that is hand sequined! Can you guess which? If you guessed all three, then you are a keen observer. Snaps for you. If you think you have spied the trench in the middle before, you are correct! We have been fortunate enough to get this great 1960’s sequin jacket in before. If you missed out then, now’s your chance to nab it.

Lanvin with a bite

Lanvin is the oldest fashion house still in operation, and for good reason. They produce quality Parisian fashions and this purse is a fine example of that. Purchased in December of 1983, this black crocodile Lanvin purse was bought and archived by a collector. It’s been waiting 29 years to be taken out for a drink already! It measures 9.5″ x 3″ x 8″ (without the handle). Please contact us for more details.

Did you know?

We almost always have Hermes scarves available at the shop? Well we do, and today is no exception. We just got in 6 crisp, never worn, Hermes silk scarves from the early 1980’s. They all came from the estate of a collector, measuring 34″ squared each. Please contact us for more details.

Chanel blossoms

Don’t you just love how random mother nature is this time of year? Little pops of colour abound. Freshly cut for you are some beautifully bold Chanel pieces and a classic chain belt. The three tiered swag belt has two large quilted CC’s as well as a smaller CC fob dangling from the end. It measures 37″ sold. The chartreuse green silk blouse with CC buttons is a modern size 6-8Sold. The tangerine orange Sold and robin’s egg blue boucle jackets can loosely fit anyone who is a 8-12. Please contact us for more details.

Homeward bound

Today were are going to throw you a curve ball. While we usually blog about our best vintage and luxury designers for you to wear, this post is about something for your home. We just got in this rare, 1970’s Hermes Caleche factice. This would have been used to promote the fragrance at an Hermes boutique. It’s huge, measuring 5″ x 5″ x 11″, and is filled with a beautiful grass green liquid. How chic would this be displayed on a mantel, vanity or in your powder room! What a conversation starter! Please contact us for details.

We have decided to keep it simple this week. Black and white is great when paired with a pop of colour. Imagine a pair of patent cherry red heels with one of these numbers (or should we say, letters)? We are totally in love with the print on the middle, 1950’s frock! Should you click and zoom in, you will see that it is of some fashionable femmes busy shopping. How darling, and fitting for this coming party season.
